Impel Names 2023 Q2 Storm Chaser Award Winners

The Storm Chaser Award is a quarterly employee recognition program in which peers nominate colleagues for work that exceeds expectations and goes above and beyond the requirements in their job description. Storm Chasers help enhance our culture, proactively seek solutions, and affect positive change within the company.

In the second quarter, we received an incredible 22 nominations, demonstrating just how many of our team members regularly take on extra responsibilities with sheer excitement — and how enthusiastic we are to lift each other up. The nominees included new and repeat candidates, and the nominations showcased how each employee lives out Impel’s values, demonstrating each team member’s dedication in going above and beyond. 

At our last company-wide meeting, we announced the amazing winners of Impel’s most recent Storm Chaser Awards: Billy Clifford, Ana Kolkhidashvili, and Tim Wavercak. Congratulations, Storm Chasers, and thank you for helping make Impel great! 

Billy Clifford, Customer Success Associate

“Billy does so much for our team that goes unnoticed by the outside world but is hugely important to the success of this group.”

“I can think of a few incidents when I was on the road and a quick resolution or response was needed for a client. Billy willingly jumped into action and helped. He not only willingly does this, he does it with such positivity.”

“He is such an instrumental piece of our team and the success we have due to his ingenuity, grit, and passion. A true Storm Chaser.”

When asked what being a Storm Chaser means to him, Billy said, “In my eyes, being a Storm Chaser means helping others get to where they want to go and to accomplish the things they want to accomplish in any way that you can. If one succeeds, Impel succeeds.”

When asked what being a Storm Chaser means to her, Ana said, “I am grateful for the amount of appreciation I have received. I just wanted to say that with the Chat AI team we are not Storm Chasers, instead we are the storms and the technology world should chase us.” 

Tim Wavercak, Senior Customer Success Manager – International

When asked what being a Storm Chaser means to him, Tim said, “To be nominated by my peers and win this award is humbling and an honor.  The award serves as a motivation to continue striving for greatness and I’m thankful for the teams who surround and support me.” 

We could not be more proud of our Storm Chasers. They embody everything Impel stands for and are wonderful assets to our team! We’re excited to continue to reward and recognize employees with this award throughout the year.
