Las Vegas

We’ve never been more excited to step off an airplane than we were last week in Las Vegas. It’s been two years since the last in-person NADA Convention, and as the industry’s biggest automotive event of the year, it was one of the things we missed most during the pandemic. The energy was palpable at our hotel as we saw other folks proudly wearing their NADA Convention 2022 badges. The Las Vegas Convention Center’s (LVCC) recent expansion boasts an impressive 1.4 million square feet of exhibit space, an underground Tesla loop from building to building, a brand-new terrace, and more. Nearly 600 exhibitors utilized the convention center for the 2022 NADA Las Vegas show, giving attendees an incredible “welcome back” experience.

NADA Las Vegas was a show like no other for us because we debuted our new company name: Impel. We couldn’t wait to share our company’s evolution and the inspiration behind our new name with our industry friends. We wanted our new booth to represent our growth from a 360º point solution to a comprehensive digital engagement platform and we were so excited to see it come to life! This year we also expanded our booth space to 1200 sq. feet to allow for a private elevated seating area, a large bar to treat our guests, and even more comfortable seating areas where Impel team members could show dealers the industry’s most complete omnichannel solution.

It was exhilarating to walk through the rows and rows of exhibitors in the North Hall on the way to the Impel booth each morning. After a two-year gap in industry events, we were so happy to see the familiar faces of many friends, while also meeting many amazing new people in the industry.

Beyond all the expo hall activity, the NADA Convention 2022 schedule was packed with workshops, panels and educational sessions. There was a wide variety of relevant topics, ranging from SEO optimization to leadership development. However, the most notable and well-attended sessions covered the importance of digital execution and engagement, the transformative power of AI technology, and post-sale retailing’s impact on profitability. In fact, those same topics were popular at the Impel booth as we spoke with dealers about our suite of end-to-end digital engagement products. From the website to the BDC, from the F&I office and the Service department, our platform enables retailers to deliver better shopper and customer experiences powered by advanced conversational AI technology. That’s why we provide the best digital engagement in the industry.

The 2022 NADA Las Vegas Show was an incredible success for Impel and we’re looking forward to what the industry has in store for us throughout the year. We’ll be attending shows including Digital Dealer, Canada Used Car Week, the National RV Dealers Association show, Dealer Week, and many more. And of course, we’ll see all of our friends at NADA 2023 in Dallas.
